Thank You cards

Hi!

My DH and I came hoem from Fla on Sunday. Finally got things put away and laundry done and all the necessary things that I needed to do.
I was checking blogs and looking at videos while I was gone.  I came across this one blog that I reallly liked.

Here is her blog    http://staceyscreativecorner.blogspot.com.  Stacey had made some very pretty Thank you cards that I loved. If you get a chance hop on over to her blog and check out what she does.

I decided that I wanted to make some so I emailed her to get sizes and she  emailed me back with the measurements.

The first picture is all 4 of my Thank You cards.

On this one I used my new Anna Griffin cuddlebug and the Matelasse folder.

On this card I used MME Baker's Twine.

The pattern paper is from MME 6x6 paper pad called Breeze.  Its a double sided stack so I used for 2 of the cards one side and the other side for the other 2 cards. I used ribbon from my stash.

I used Essentials preloaded cart on my E2 for the Thank You mat.  The Stamp that I used I had gotten from  my friend Terri.  The paper flower that I used was from M's as the gems also.  My cards measure. 3.25x3.25.  I also rounded the bottom corners on my card.  I did ink around two of the cards for a little more dementions.

Tomorrow I will be making the envelopes to go with the cards and hopefully a box for the cards to go into.  These will be a set of 4.

Thanks for taking a look.

Vacation

My DH and I are still on vacation in Okeechobee Fla.  We will be here until FEB 1st.  We will be heading home then.  So until I get home I won't be posting any projects.   I have been watching videos and saving to my teqnique folder. I will have  lots to do when I return home.  I'm starting to get crafting withdrawals.  LOL  See ya soon.

Spinner card

First off I want to tell everyone a Happy New Year.  Hope 2013 is hopeful and properous for each and everyone of you.

I had seen this spinner card on She's A Sassy Lady's blogsite.  I went to another web site to get the directions on how to make this card.  I don't have the punch that this person used, So I cut it out by hand.  Sheila had made this card and it was from the Dallas Stampede Card that someone had made.  I'm not sure who.  I read the post, but forgot who.

I used CAC2 for the cookie and cut it at  "2.25."  The Happy Birthday was also  cut from CAC2.

I watched another video on how to cutout the piece for the penny to be able to slide the cut.  I'm going to make another one by watching ChicnScratch  (Angie)

Here is my spinner card;

The inside of the card is the Gingerbreadhouse from CAC@  I had cut this before to use on a LO but it was to small. I thought it would work for my inside.  I also cut a bigger cookie for the inside.
